Having been a part of the team that won the Standard Chartered Bank social and digital business, we were then asked to get to work. We decided to leverage their football sponsorship with Liverpool Football Club. Our timing, along without our insights, proved to be on the money. We created a campaign focused on one of the English Premier League’s most admired players, Steven Gerrard, at a poignant moment in his career. The campaign struck an emotional chord and quickly connected great numbers of people with the Standard Chartered brand.
