Canon Dos 50D and 5D Mark II: Make photography new again

The Canon EOS DSLR ‘workshop’ campaign was created in cahoots with known British photographer, Rick Guest. We felt that a collaborative and spontaneous approach to the creative would deliver a more organic and genuine outcome for an informed audience. By showing them ‘process over result’ we were providing an inspirational journey via the features of the product - not just a great photo. The 5D Mark 11 campaign was designed to portray the launch of a new photographic 'anything is possible' era.

Prior to launch, we began our communique by seeding questions in reputable photography blogs about the types of camera features that people rate the most valuable. We then launched the 'teaser' print campaign, driving people online to witness cool photographic experiments, along with in-depth analysis of the camera's performance capability and feature breakdown.
